A5 Filofax Clipbook Perpetual Diary insert

Image
I recently reviewed the Filofax Clipbook on here, the video above is for the perpetual diary insert that goes with it. However you can pretty much use any A5 Filofax insert to go with in the clipbook, but these newer products do have a much more modern and simpler design rather than the more formal inserts for the ring bound planners.  The great thing is that you can write in your own dates as you please and just circle the month which is marked out at the top of the page. This probably isn't to everyone's taste, certainly not mine, I like the more formal inserts! This picture features the full month laid out, the sheet is actually A4 paper folded in half, not a common feature in ring bound planners. The disadvantage is that the right half of the paper isn't supported by the planner and paper underneath which means you are writing on a slope and whatever surface is below it. I HATE writing on to a hard surface and really need paper underneath so this has wound me

Filofax A5 Clip book video review

Collecting Filofaxes is an expensive habit, so I always choose my planners carefully knowing full well it could be a while before I can afford another one! I was recently gifted a £20 Amazon gift card, I knew I could blow this one on anything I wanted so I had a good scout through the Amazon app and obviously searched for Filofax before looking at music and DVD's. I eventually opted for the A5 Filofax Clip Book, a newer product possibly aimed at more student/education market as they are generally lower cost than a Leather organiser. It cost me just under £15.00 but I have seen them on sale at £18 so it felt like a good price and I still had a few quid to buy some blank inserts to go in it as well. For now here's the video I made showing what's inside, there will be a separate review at a later date with the inserts and some photos of what I ended using it for.

Welcome to the Filofaxist

Welcome to the start of the Filofaxist blog, a new venture for me and hopefully a successful one. The idea behind this blog is to share my love of all things Filofax, binders, organisers and all stationery in general. I hope to showcase my collection of organisers along with tips and ideas.  A lot of what I will share are ideas I've seen elsewhere (Credit will be shared) and a few I've come up with myself. Most importantly it will be an expression of me and my personality, a geek who loves filofaxes!
